Our charming and cozy villa with views of the mountains is your perfect escape! In the winter, the Skier Express gondola provides easy access to Heavenly Mountain’s Stagecoach Chairlift. During the summer, world-famous hiking and biking trails are only a few minutes from the front door, and just down the hill are Lake Tahoe’s beautiful beaches, boating, paddle boarding and kayaking! There is something for everyone here, and our space offers a quiet escape after a day outside.

Summary: Let me say first that we did end up having a nice stay, however the first room we did not like. The first room was in "The Ridge" which is not within walking distance to the clubhouse, pool area, and skier access. This was not preferred for us with teenagers and ski stuff. We had requested to be near the gondola that accesses the Stagecoach lift, and "The Ridge" is not as close as we had expected. " The first room was fine but the common areas needed attention. The ceiling was leaking in the stairwell. There was ice inside on the steps which was dangerous (there was an elevator, but the steps were right next to our room). The common areas in this building really need updating. We checked with the front desk about moving and they were very accommodating. They moved us to "The Plaza", which was a much nicer building near the clubhouse and gondola access. The room was nice and clean and the building itself was much nicer and in the main resort area. The common areas in the whole resort need attention. One of the hot tubs in the Plaza building was not working. The pool in the clubhouse was freezing cold (never saw anyone actually get in because it was so cold) and the pool area needed some maintenance. There was a ton of snow this year, so I know it was probably difficult to keep up on things. There were also several areas in the club house where the ceiling had leaked and tiles were missing or held up by tape. A few fixes and this resort would be top notch. The staff that was on site were all fantastic! I think they were just short handed towards the end of the ski season. The issues mentioned are more of a management failure. That all being said, we did enjoy our stay very much and and we would stay here again if we were able to pick a specific building. The location is great if you are in certain buildings. We rented through "Leavetown" , and they communicated well. Again, we would like to be able to pick a specific building to stay in if we return. Thank you for a very good vacation overall!
