This beautiful 5 BR/5 bath, mountain home is located near the charming town of Shawnee, Colorado. The house overlooks the stunning north fork of the South Platte River, with a beautiful backdrop view of Mount Logan. This 4 acre retreat home has the latest amenities and plenty of space for up to 14 guests.

Main Floor: On the main floor there is a master suite with a King size bed as well as an attached bath, with a claw foot bathtub, double head shower. The second bedroom (on the main floor), also known as "The River Room" is a riverfront bedroom with a King size bed. This bedroom has a full bath, adjacent to it that doubles as restroom for the living area. The kitchen offers the latest amenities (full list below) with plenty of counter space. Enjoy a nice meal in the Dining Room, where there is seating for 10. The kitchen table has seating for four. The Family Room has a large, comfortable sectional couch with plenty of room for a movie night or game night! Connected to the Family Room is a large porch overlooking the river. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning while listening to the tranquil sounds of the river. If you would rather enjoy the view of the mountains, step out onto the back porch and take in the views of Mt. Logan.
Second Floor: The second floor has bedrooms #3 and #4 in two separate wings. Both bedroom wings contain one queen size bed, and nook sleeping areas that contain twin size beds. Both wings have full bathrooms attached. Perfect for families! Between the two bedroom wings, enjoy an afternoon reading on the spacious landing with mountain view.
Private Master Suite: Located in a secluded part of the home, the Private Master Suite has a separate staircase located right off of the mudroom. This suite has a King size bed, full bathroom, and beautiful mountain view.
The Property: The property provides a variety of options for any experience you are looking for. Enjoy a relaxing evening under the stars at the fire pit. Eat a meal at the swinging outdoor table as you enjoy the sounds of the river. (Seasonal table - taken indoors for the winter) Take a walk down across the river to the Fishing Shack for a game of pool (This building was the original Post Office on the Stagecoach Route!) Play a round of disc golf on the course that takes you throughout the entire property. (Please bring your own disc golf frisbee ~ these are not provided.) Bring the family back together with a friendly game of horseshoes next to the house.
Hiking and snowshoe trails available right out the back door.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THE ONLY GROCERY STORE IS IN CONIFER. THERE IS A KING SOOPERS AS WELL AS A SAFEWAY. THIS IS ABOUT 30 MINUTES FROM OUR HOME. STOCK UP, YOU WONT WANT TO LEAVE ONCE YOU GET TO THE HOUSE, PUT FEET UP ON THE FRONT PORCH, OR RELAX BY THE FIRE PIT.
