Experience a wonderful mountain getaway at Raccoon Ridge, centrally located between Boone and Banner Elk, nestled in a private wooded setting, yet just a fifteen-minute drive to Boone, shopping, hiking, rafting, fishing, zip lines, and so much more. The home has authentic mountain decor and flexible sleeping arrangements with twelve (12) sleeping spots.
The main level features a cozy living room with leather furniture, a large-screen TV with satellite, a stacked-stone fireplace, and a game table. The living room opens to a spacious, well-equipped kitchen with all the comforts of your home. Off the main living area is the upper deck, with plenty of seating to enjoy the mountain setting and a gas grill for family gatherings. The main level also has a laundry area off the kitchen, a delightful bedroom suite with two (2) queen beds and a satellite TV, and a bunk room with two (2) twin-over-twin log bunk beds open to and just off the living area.
The lower level has a king bedroom with a Comfort Zone Sleep Number Bed and a bedroom with two (2) twin beds. The two bedrooms share a full bath in the hallway. There is also a second level of decks and a catwalk to the covered hot tub gazebo.
The owners have left a bin of sunflower seeds in the kitchen to feed the flying squirrels! The neighborhood is home to lots of wildlife, so you never know what you might see in the woods. This property is pet-friendly. Dogs only, and applicable fees are applied.
