Sierra-at-Tahoe Ski Resort is a short 45 minutes away!
Sleep soundly six real beds and relax on the chairs of our large balcony overlooking tall pines. Enjoy fast internet, AppleTV w/ Netflix, and kitchen supplies ready for cooking! We provide coffee, tea, & hot chocolate too!
ENTIRE HOME:
Our home is surrounded by beautiful pine forest and is very private. The entire home was remodeled in Jan 2019! We offer fast 400mbit wifi available throughout the home.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
- On the main floor there are two bedrooms- both with queen beds, as well as one full bathroom
- On the top floor there are three rooms: A large bathroom, a large common room with 1 full bed & two twin XL beds, and a master bedroom with a king bed. *Note* you must walk through this common room to reach the master bedroom. The master bedroom features a 55" SmartTV with Roku.
KITCHEN:
The kitchen is ready for you to cook a great meal! Fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, a Keurig, salt/pepper.
DINING ROOM:
The dining table seats up to 8!
LIVING ROOM:
The living room has a couch with chaise lounge & love seat. We have a 65" SmartTV, DVR, as well as an AppleTV logged in to Netflix! Off the living room is a large balcony overlooking forest perfect for enjoying your morning coffee.
PARKING:
You have full access to the two car garage as well as a long driveway.
POWER:
This area can experience frequent power outages. We are proud to say we have a whole-home generator with auto transfer switch! A power outage will never interrupt your stay.

Whether you are here to enjoy the roads & trails, the serenity of the forest, or just want to be close to Tahoe, you'll love this home in the Sierra Nevada Mountains!
1 or 2 well behaved dogs are welcome for an extra fee! We love dogs and don't mind guests bringing them along for the trip. We ask that you not leave your dog alone. Even the best behaved dogs can cause some damage when left alone in a new environment. We have coyotes, mountain lions, and even a bear in the area that can be a danger to dogs that are outside alone.
Those with mobility issues: stairs into the home and inside may have hard to grip railings or be steeper than average.
WINTER WEATHER NOTICE:
Pollock Pines is located at or near the snow line most winters. That said, the MotoRetreat is located a short distance down a road that may not be plowed if it does snow. In this case, 4x4/high clearance may be required. We will always notify you if this is a possibility prior to your stay.
SECURITY CAMERAS:
There are outdoor cameras that cover the driveway, balcony, and yard. There is also a camera inside the garage.
