Old Florida meets present day conveniences in this fully modernized vintage beachfront cottage DIRECTLY ON the Gulf of Mexico. Completely renovated in 2014 with no expenses spared, maintaining the old world charm of the “beach cottage” style of days gone by.
Our “gem” is unlike any other on the beach!
The Beach Cottage features a great room concept (living room, dining room, kitchen) with a full size gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, Wolfe gas range, Viking refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, Viking microwave oven, garbage disposal and absolute 1 micron filtered water tap. The cabinets are well stocked for all your cooking/baking needs and being cooled by our first ‘big ass fan’. Eat at the kitchen island (4 stools) or the dining table, accommodating 8 guests. Relax on the sectional sofa (sofa bed) watching the seventy inch arched screen TV. Travel down the short hallway to bedroom and bathroom number one. The bedroom offers a king bed dressed in high thread count sheets, down pillows, down duvet, 50 inch flat screen TV, and another ‘big ass fan’ for extra cooling. Sliding glass doors open to the sunroom and a view of the private pool and Gulf of Mexico without leaving your bed! The bathroom features a granite vanity, luxurious tub, ceiling rain shower head, lighted make up mirror and a mirror over the vanity. Separate water closet is adjacent. Finally, the sun porch is the "cherry" on top of this "Sundae", it opens up fully to the Gulf of Mexico and pool deck through pastel powder coated glass garage doors that open over head with two more sliding glass doors on each side, exposing the sunroom completely outdoors. Relax in the four Shabby Chic oversized down arm chairs while enjoying a fabulous sunset and great glass of wine...Truly, heaven on earth.
Our second bedroom/bathroom is unique in its own right and offers similar yet distinct character. With it's own Microwave, mini oven, kitchen sink, full size refrigerator and its own exterior entrance, guest can truly mingle or be single. Sleeping on a second king size bed, this one a sleep number bed that raises both feet and head to zero gravity and vibrates will greatly add to your vacation comfort. Dressed with exactly the same, high thread count sheets, down pillows, down duvet, 50 inch plasma TV and it's own view of the gulf, without leaving your bed! Naturally, another big ass fan (remote controlled w/LED light) cools the space. The ensuite bathroom with its step down tub and with a back wall that once was outside and of the original Peace River rock and was once the original outdoor shower with its own exterior door prior to the renovation. Outfitted now in Newport Brass bronze faucet, shower rain head and copper vanity sink, showering is now inside, private and excellent. Relax on another large sectional sofa (sofa bed) in the attached living room separated by sliding barn doors watching the 4th large screen TV. Cooled by yet another ‘big ass fan’ and remote controlled roller shades for privacy or when up, a stunning view of the gulf.
Spectrum Networks Fastest Echo WIFI is located throughout the beach cottage, Basic cable TV is also provided by Spectrum, also throughout the beach cottage are Sonos speakers, download the APP to have music in every room or bring your NETFLIX account to watch movies.
Moving on to the pool...a beach entrance saltwater heated pool with grotto, waterfall and spa. To top off the outdoor experience, we offer a solid copper vintage outdoor shower with rain head and foot wash for removing sand from your day at the beach! Additionally, You won’t be interrupted by noisy lawn services, our cottage landscaping is state of the art artificial grass provided by Better-Than-Grass.com. Also, Sonos wireless speakers offered throughout the cottage and laundry room for all your vacation music even in the detached laundry room and to the beach.

PLEASE NOTE....our cottage is set up for checking in and out on Saturdays, if you want/need different days contact us to discuss. We will also rent the cottage for periods longer than a week, once again contact us to discuss.
