Everything about the EcoFinca Son Roqueta gives off quality, an old possession totally reformed with style. The house rests on a hillside overlooking the valley between Manacor and Petra, where we can hear the sound of animals, see the flight of birds and enjoy a dreamlike sunset.
Its swimming pool of great proportions will delight those swimmers, located in the middle of cycle routes, it is perfect for an active holiday.
The façade is built with local stones, preserving the old construction techniques to make the most of the efficiency and thermal and energy insulation, the house has large spaces and large windows that let in natural light to provide maximum comfort to your guests.
Decorated with style, quality and imagination, it respects the farmer's origin of the farm and its surroundings. There is a pleasant atmosphere that welcomes the farm, we leave the car parked and walk a few meters with spectacular views and a large terrace that invites us to spend the pleasant summer nights al fresco while enjoying the sound of animals and flying of the birds.
To satisfy those guests who are several families, the property consists of the main house (with three double bedrooms), an exterior double room with shower en suite (created where the cattle stables used to be) and an apartment / studio separated by a path of stones consisting of double bed, sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and covered terrace with comfortable table and chairs.
In the main house we enter the hall and we can see the wide spaces, which connect between the living room, the kitchen and a rest room with a large and comfortable sofa. On the ground floor we will find two bedrooms with bathroom, one of the rooms has private access to a second floor with a study and two sofas for reading and the main room has a bathroom with bath and shower. Also on the entrance we find other stairs that lead us to the third bedroom and its private bathroom.
If we go outside, next to the main house we find this beautiful double room with a bathroom and a shower with transparent glass. We have kept the stones that were originally in the barn offering an ideal place for couples.
Following the path of stones we will find a magnificent fully equipped apartment, with kitchen, living room, dining table and a double bed with en-suite bathroom, on the outside there are two chill-out spaces, one in the shade with table for 8 diners and the other is perfect for sunbathing and drinking a refreshing cocktail. This space is perfect for group members who want to maintain a bit of privacy regarding the larger group.
In front of the house there are wonderful views and we can access the large pool (20x 5m) by a meandering path between the fruit trees and a magnificent source of natural water that never stops to throw fresh water. In the pool we have twelve hammocks and two umbrellas.
