Villa Marilia is a new-built villa on a hill in Maleme area, about 1.2km away from the sea. The area is peaceful with a panoramic sea view. Maleme was one of the most imporart places during the battle of Crete. The old airport, that lies in front of the villa was the centre of replenishment for the western Crete during the WWII. Now Maleme is a coastal resort with restaurants, bars and shops.
The villa stands on a hill and you have an amazing view on every point of the garden. There are garden sets in front of the villa and to the first floor balconies, where you can relax enjoying the tranquility of the area and the breathtaking view. The big private pool is situated on the back of the villa, which also offers a fantastic view of the sea and mountains. By the pool, outside the kitchen, there is also a barbecue and a traditional stone oven.
The main entrance of the villa opens to a sunlit sitting area and the open plan kitchen. Next to the sitting area there's a modern dining area, which is decorated with a pretty floral wallpaper. A kitchenette is next to the main kitchen and has a door that leads to the garden and the barbecue. On this floor there are also a twin bedroom and a bathroom. Three more bedrooms and two bathrooms are found on the first floor.
