This place is a hidden gem. It has the feel of an isolated country house, with the convenience of being a 2-minute drive from the small town of Barbacoas and a 10-minute drive to the larger town of Puriscal. The house is situated on a beautiful 3 acre lot that offers great views of the stunning sunsets and the valley below. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, artists and families (with kids). Come experience the Pura Vida lifestyle.
You will have access to the entire home during your stay. Though I live outside of the country, the property manager Alejandro lives nearby and can help with anything that is needed. Although he only speaks a little English, he is able to contact me 24/7. We work together to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay.
The views from this house are spectacular. Although there are several neighbours around, the house is far enough from the street to offer privacy and seclusion. The people in the small town of Barbacoas are absolutely lovely. Arturo, the owner of the small grocery store in town, is a friend and speaks a little bit of English and he goes out of his way to make you feel welcome!
I own a Costa Rica based travel agency and can help you rent a car to get to the property or help arrange tours or activities anywhere in Costa Rica. Although there is public transit that runs from the international airport up to Puriscal, the larger town (10-minute drive to the house). From there, you can take a taxi to the property.
