Negative: Our stay was disappointing. After completing the non-refundable payment, we received a lengthy list of rules, including that no bedding or towels were provided — a surprise since we were already traveling. The issue was later resolved, but the bedding had an unpleasant smell and didn’t seem freshly cleaned. Guests are also required to vacuum and mop the apartment and have it inspected before departure, or pay a €60 cleaning fee. In our week across Normandy with seven stays, we never encountered such strict or unwelcoming policies. The apartment had a bad odor, steep stairs, and poor amenities — unfortunately, the least satisfactory stay of our trip.
