This lovely cabin has been completely renovated with your relaxation and enjoyment in mind. From the moment you arrive, you'll feel the stresses of everyday life slip away as you take in the stunning waterfront views from the large deck.
Our cabin boasts modern amenities with a touch of midcentury charm. It's the perfect balance of old and new, creating a serene retreat away from it all. You'll love the direct waterfront access, allowing you to dip your toes in the crystal-clear water or take the two included kayaks out for a leisurely paddle.
With sleeping arrangements for up to 6 guests, our cabin is the perfect spot for a family vacation or a romantic getaway. And if you're looking to host a larger group, our second home is located directly next door and can sleep an additional 6 guests, bringing the total sleeping capacity to 12. Located on a private dirt road, our Lake-side Loft is perfectly situated for those looking to explore all of Northern Michigan's gems. Hop on the nearby ORV trails for an exciting adventure, or head to The Hideaway Bar just 2 minutes away for a cold drink and some local flavor. For the skiing enthusiasts, Boyne Mountain is only a 35-minute drive away.
If you're in the mood for a bit more excitement, Traverse City and all its festivities are just a 45-minute drive away. But with everything our Unique Loft has to offer, you may not want to leave! The Primary space bedroom: one queen bed (Casper mattress)
Secondary bedroom: two twin beds
Downstairs living space: An open space with a dining table, kitchen, and wood-burning fireplace.
Loft: A large loft space includes 2 queen beds (Casper mattresses), a couch, a desk space, and a new HDTV with cable and streaming.
The staircase weight limit is 300 lbs. It is a steep and narrow ladder staircase, which may not be for everyone.
Lake: There is direct lake access, but there is not currently a dock. It's about a 2-3 ft drop from where the end of the stairs to jump into the water. The home has about 40 steps down to the water.

LOCATION: 1 min from ORV trails! 25 min to Torch Lake, 35 min to Boyne, 45 min to Traverse City 1 hour to Petoskey Other things to note The space retains cool air very well. It may be warm in the loft on the rare summer days above 80 in Mancelona, but there are fans available. Evenings typically see temperatures fall 20 degrees. (We run our A/C all the time at home but have never been uncomfortable here, even in July.) This home is in the woods in Northern Michigan! Bug and critter sightings are part of the experience. The closest grocery store is 12 minutes away in Mancelona.
