Welcome to Highwood Hideaway, a fabulous home managed by Third Coast Vacations - Southwest Michigan’s favorite local vacation rental company.
The home is close to Silver Beach and all that downtown St. Joseph has to offer! It also offers stunning Ravine views, a grassy back yard, and a screen porch you will never want to leave.
When you step inside you’ll be instantly impressed with the mid century decor featured throughout the home. Off to your left is a formal dining space with a bar setup. Moving into the home you’ll find a tastefully decorated living area with TV and comfortable seating.
Off to the right of the home is a spacious and fully stocked kitchen with a breakfast nook and coffee station.Enjoy a coffee, tea, or latte with the Keurig and Nespresso machines in the kitchen! Off the kitchen is laundry facilities and a half bathroom. The French Doors off of the kitchen open fully to welcome you into the relaxing screened porch, with a teak dining table for four as well as comfy wicker lounge seating.
The screened porch opens on a very large deck, situated on the edge of a wooded ravine, with an outdoor dining table and umbrella and barbecue grill as well as two chaise longues for relaxing. Walk off the deck into well manicured back yard and over to the fire pit, perfect for S'mores or a glass of wine on a cool Michigan evening. Beyond the firepit are raised beds where you may be able to cut some french flowers or home grown vegetables!
Down the hallway from the living area are three bedrooms, a main bathroom and an office space. The first bedroom features hardwood floors and a Queen size bed. The second bedroom is a bit larger with a Queen bed and hardwood floors. The final bedroom is a carpeted master suite with En suite bath.
