Positive: I loved the view from the balcony/terrace, on the left was the marina, and in front was the vivid blue Mediterranean. It was great to sit out and just watch the boats go by. The area was pretty quiet yet within walking distance of stores, bars and restaurants. It was very typically Spanish with narrow roads, picturesque and charming. I have back issues, and when I sat on the bed in the main bedroom I thought it was way too soft. When I lay down I was surprised how supportive and comfortable it was. I slept like a log. There was a lot of clothes storage and even drawers in the bathroom. It was great to be able to organize everything and still have space left over. The apartment was super clean, which we very much appreciated. The kitchen was pretty well stocked for cooking and the mismatched bowls were adorable. The decor was very quirky yet also adorable. It's the little things in life. The management agents were very responsive and professional. We did have an issue with the heating which couldn't be solved before we left because it was a public holiday weekend. They were apologetic but we obviously weren't upset. Things break and no-one works over a big holiday. The apartment wasn't perfect, it was comfortable, clean and the view was worth it. It was good value for money.
Negative: The parking was terrible. Tiny and cramped. I'll say that we're not at all used to the small dimensions of Spanish parking garages, and maybe even other Europeans might be fine with it. It made us super anxious, so we decided to park at the marina, which is a few minute's walk away, for 60 Euros a week. We were there in November so the marina was very quiet, I'm not sure if there would be space for a car in summer, but maybe it would be something to check out. I'm truly admiring of Spanish parking skills, parallel parking on a single shot! But we are lacking and not ashamed to admit it.
Summary: The view was worth a thousand Euros, the apt was clean and comfortable.
