The Space:
Hidden Treasure is an incredible destination luxury log home designed to ensure your southern Utah stay is all that you dream of and more! From the moment you pull through the gates of this beautiful secluded estate, you’ll begin to relax as you take in the tranquility of 60 rolling acres backed up by thousands of acres of picturesque Vermilion Cliff BLM land. This home is nestled between pinyon pines and juniper trees, and is situated off a private road. It's conveniently located just 5 miles east of the center of the of town, so you can enjoy the serene and peaceful surroundings without a long drive to dining, shopping and Kanab attractions.
Although this is a secluded property, please be aware that there are 2 other homes on the property which will either be rented or occupied by the owners. There are also horses on the property so please do NOT enter the barn unless the owners are present.
The Hidden Treasure home offers 3 full bedroom/bathrooms on the main floor, a loft with sleeping quarters and another half bath downstairs. There are 6 beds total in this home, 2 kings, 1 queen, and 3 singles. There are flat screen TVs equipped with Dish satellite connections in each bedroom and in the loft. Free Wi-Fi and guest computer are available during your stay.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need to create a delicious culinary experience. Take advantage of home cooking with the stainless steel industrial grade gas cooktop and double ovens. Serve your meals family style at the custom built, extra large dining table and delight in the panoramic views of the red cliffs and the seasonal deer that may stroll through.
Step outside and enjoy sunrises and sunsets from the wraparound deck that offers spectacular views from every direction. The spacious deck also includes patio table/chairs and a gas BBQ if you wish to cook a meal while enjoying the outdoors.

The Neighborhood:
This is a very private area and your closest neighbors will be in the other two homes on the property.
There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.
Equestrian and biking trails are also available.
Getting Around:
The home is located off a private road near mile marker 60 on Highway 89. Hwy 89A/89 takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon.
Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.
Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.
Other Things to Note:
There are two other homes off the private drive on either side of the property. On the private driveway leading to the home there are two dips allowing for rain water that won't accommodate long wheelbase vehicles such as long trailers or motor homes. This home is also equipped with an exterior security system with security cameras for your safety. Please be aware that if we get a lot of rain, sometimes the dips/washes are unpassable so please don't attempt to drive a car through there until the flooding stops and the dips/washes are cleared out.
Again, please do not enter the barn or approach the horses unless the owners are present.

Please note mileage is approximate and may vary by a few miles.
