Positive: Lovely, authentic house in a quiet neighbourhood. 15 minute walk into town. 2 minute walk to nearest convenience store. Very spacious, clean with perfect design. Great for a one week stay with Kanazawa as the focus and base for wider exploration. We liked Kanazawa so much that we stayed for 8 nights without running out of things to do without even leaving Kanazawa.

Negative: We accidentally chose the house without a washing machine. We were travelling light so wanted to do some laundry. The owner solved this by picking up our laundry and taking it to the launderette for us and bringing it back so that we didnt have to hang around and waste a day of our holiday.

Summary: Perfect base for a visit to Kanazawa. Stunning house.
