Ready to take a break from the busy hustle and bustle of everyday life? If you are ready to experience the quiet, laid-back atmosphere of Port St. Joe in a traditional Florida cottage, then “Jewell Cottage” is the perfect vacation rental for your next trip to the Forgotten Coast in the Florida panhandle. This 3 bedroom 2 bath home offers plenty of sleeping arrangements, a cozy screened-in patio, a HUGE FENCED IN YARD with fire pit, plenty of space for boat parking, a fish cleaning station and IS PET FRIENDLY! The beaches on both Cape San Blas and St Joe Beach (and Gulf County Florida) are also pet friendly as well as most of the shops and restaurants in downtown Port St Joe, Florida!
As you enter this adorable cottage, you are greeted with an open concept living/kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to prepare meals, and offers dining seating for 6 and an additional breakfast bar with seating for 2. The living room offers plenty of space to kick back and watch your favorite tv program on the 52” smart tv. Right out the kitchen door, you will find the screened-in porch and huge fenced-in backyard, offering plenty of room for the fur babies and kiddos to run and play or build a fire in the firepit and roast some hotdogs!
As you venture down the hall you will find the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom offers a new comfortable king bed, 42-inch smart tv, and an en-suite bath with a shower tub combo and single vanity. The first guest room offers a new comfortable queen bed, and the second guest room offers a new comfortable twin bed with an additional twin trundle underneath.

When you are ready to hit the beach, you have many nearby options for you to explore! Visit Cape San Blas, St. Joe Beach, or Mexico Beach to experience the pristine beaches of the Forgotten Coast! Enjoy all the beach has to offer, or spend the day in Panama City, just a short drive away for tourist experiences, or walk the Panama City Beach pier. For the fishing enthusiast, book your family on a fishing charter day trip out on the water to catch your dinner in the Gulf of Mexico.
For an adventure, take a ride to St. Joseph Peninsula State Park for access to the beach and the bay. It offers natural hiking trails, miles of untouched beaches, and access to launch kayaks or paddle boards. For an amazing experience, you can horseback ride on the beach from Salinas Park. If you are interested in wildlife and natural beauty, plan a trip over to St. Vincent Island by ferry boat for the day. Hike around the island and explore our native wildlife and foliage. About 30 miles away is the historical fishing community of Apalachicola. It's perfect for a day trip to do a little shopping, stroll along the Apalachicola River or grab some of the best seafood around! You won't be disappointed! There are so many options to do without crowds or traffic making it the perfect Florida vacation spot in the sunshine state!
This home is pet-friendly, and allows up to 2 dogs. If you choose to bring a pet, a charge of $140 will be added to your reservation after you book.

This home comes with everything you need! All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. We also provide an initial supply of paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap, bath soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, and dishwasher detergent.
Some of our properties typically have beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc.) on site. However, there is no guarantee as these items tend to come and go throughout the year.

CANCELLATION POLICY: We strongly encourage our guests to purchase the optional travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. All reservations include an administrative fee of $35 (plus taxes) upon booking which is non-refundable in the event of a reservation cancellation. Credit cards processing fees will be charged upon cancellation which is equal to 3.25% of all payments made.
Reservations canceled at least 60 days before check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled between 30 to 60 days before check-in date will receive a 50% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled less than 30 days before check-in date will result in forfeiture of the full advance rental payments and any other payments.
Our beautiful area has been under reconstruction since Hurricane Michael in 2018. We have come a long way since then, but there is still a considerable amount of new construction going on in the area. While we strive to give you an accurate representation in our photos, we cannot guarantee that new construction near your rental hasn't begun since our photos were taken.
