Newly renovated with 4 bedrooms and two bath with a large modern kitchen. Close to two cities, City of Barrie 20 mins, City of Orillia 10 mins. We are close to so many beautiful lakes, beaches, parks, walking , biking trails and horseback riding. Close to Vetta Nordic Spa, Burls Creek, Boots & Hearts Festival, Horseshoe Valley, Mount St. Louis Ski Resorts and Hardwood Bike as well as Casino Rama. Come enjoy our large yard with camp fire. perfect for families wanting to reconnect and create great memories. We are Ski Country in the Winter and Lake Country in the Summer.

Summary: our family gathered from across canada and the world for our daughter's wedding in late august. we needed accommodation for 5 and wanted to be a little removed from the chaos of last minute planning, but close enough to contribute. being only 10 minutes from Orillia was perfect. we found the very rural location to be very quiet. attention to details by Sylvia and Rick was truly inspired. the cottage did feel bigger than the listing indicated. everything was as presented with the little things making a huge difference. all required amenities were present, first weeks coffee, soaps, 's'mores' for the campfire (which we did not take advantage of) outdoor gas grill, hot tub, motion activated approach lighting for those late returns. during a local power failure, Rick even managed to run an extension cord from a small generator to provide for coffee and hot showers. so: would we stay again? absolutely. highly recommended.
