Positive: I spent three weeks at Vito’s place in October, and it was truly a special time. The apartment has everything you need to live comfortably — it feels less like a holiday rental and more like a real home. There are all the essentials, comfortable beds, a kitchen where you can actually cook, reliable internet for work, and above all, a balcony and a kitchen window with a beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea. But what truly makes this place exceptional is Vito — the owner. He is such a warm, genuine, and caring person who instantly makes you feel welcome. He loves animals and speaks about his own with such tenderness that it’s really touching. He was also incredibly understanding about the fact that my dog doesn’t like strangers, and he did everything he could to make sure I never felt uncomfortable because of it. You can learn so much from him about the city, the culture, and the people. We spent a wonderful evening talking about all sorts of things. Vito is also an amazing cook, and if he prepares fish for you, consider yourself very lucky! He is always ready to help and looks after you, yet never in a way that feels intrusive. Because of that, you feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. It’s the kind of place you want to return to. I would love to come back and stay for at least a month. Thank you, Vito, for this unforgettable time — I’m deeply grateful.
