Positive: Beautiful location. Two great staff members running the hotel.
Negative: We had been so looking forward to staying here especially because it was off the beaten track but had a highly rated restaurant on site so that we wouldn’t have to drive back up the winding road into Begur to eat. Sadly, when we arrived, we discovered the restaurant had been closed without us being informed. Other guests were as upset about this as we were. It seems that some changes have taken place at the hotel which have resulted in an exodus of staff. This also meant that there was no proper outdoor lighting in the evenings resulting in the outdoor area being quite difficult to negotiate and giving the hotel an eerie vibe. The two staff members still on site in the mornings/early afternoon are doing an awesome job with breakfast and room cleaning. This seems extra sad when you read previous reviews about the hotel.
