This is a great base for getting to know Mallorca, with all points of the compass easily accessible and Palma at a very convenient distance. Midsummer is scorching on the plains, so you will probably want to get the most out of that pool..There is plenty to see in the surrounding countryside if you enjoy a gentle bike ride, such as the birthplace of the local saint, Catalina Thomas, and taking a trip further back in history, the Son Fred Talaot is a prehistoric monument and well worth a visit, tucked away on a back road.The town itself is very friendly and there are a couple of cafes and bars, a supermarket and an excellent bakery.All in all, a great place for families or friends, to tour the island and to sit back and relax a bit in an undemanding environment. For reason of the near distance to the airport, it's possible that you hear the noise of the airplanes, which depends on the trafic and the wind.
