No need to move from the chairs as you can watch the kids play at the playground. Dinner will be easy by throwing some burgers and dogs on the ginormous shared grill. There is always time to take a refreshing dip in the pool or sit by the shared enormous firepit and make smores. Sandy Bottoms is fully equipped with just about anything you need to make packing easy. All you need to pack is your bathing suit and the kids! The darling kitchen is completely functional to prepare any meal you decide not to throw on the grill. You also have a dining table with seating for 6 when you need to get out of the hot sun and enjoy your air-conditioned space. Rainy day? No worries! You have a quaint living room to gather and put together a puzzle or watch a movie together. The primary suite has a cozy queen size bed, tv and their own bathroom/shower. There is a huge bathroom located off the kitchen with a jetted tub. A nice size bedroom for the kids sums up Sandy Bottoms, which includes 2 queen size beds and a tv. The bedrooms are spaced out nicely to allow privacy for all.
You can't beat the location of Shorelands! A variety of adventures can be found in the Kennebunk area! Parsons Beach, a quick ½ mile walk, is perfect to soak up the sun as you read a book on the sand or swim in the ocean waves. Fishing is available nearby where the tidal river meets the ocean. Just a little over a mile south is the salt marshes of the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge where you can reconnect with nature and do some bird watching. Another mile south, you will find downtown Kennebunk where shop to your heart's content. Ogunquit is only nine miles away, offering unlimited activities and shops as well.
