This is an incredible 6 bedroom/ 4.5 bathroom family retreat, set atop Lookout Mountain in beautiful Mentone. From the moment you pull into the driveway, you will be in awe of the beauty of not only the home itself but also the gorgeous mountain it sits on. The stately double front doors lead into the spacious open floor plan family room, dining room, and kitchen. The kitchen is beautifully appointed, with a large island, granite countertops and backsplash, and custom cabinetry. In the family room, custom built-in bookcases flank a fireplace, perfect for those chilly mountain nights. Off the dining room, a pair of French doors lead to another amazing space, the sunroom porch. This generously sized screened porch is the ultimate place to unwind and relax, allowing breathtaking scenic views and breathe in the cool mountain air. Another fireplace on the porch ensures many cozy nights swinging in the bed swing! The porch offers relaxation and a fireplace and dining table! The upper loft entertains you all with a poker / black jack table, checkers/ chess and backgammon table, a puzzle/card/board game table. Fun for all that includes the upstairs beverage/ snack station! The master suite also boasts a fireplace, as well as a spa bathroom including a jetted tub with LED lights and access to a private screened-in porch. The master also includes a private coffee station and small personal fridge. The home's approximate 5100 s.f. of living space also includes a laundry room, remote workspace and exercise room. Every bedroom has two comfy and beautiful chairs for guests to relax within their own rooms. The meticulously landscaped backyard of this home is just as remarkable as the interior. And the views are definitely not to be missed! The possibilities for both relaxing and entertaining are endless with a mini custom stacked stone pool (heating is optional see below), the perfect area for watching sunsets year-round, and a huge outdoor entertainment area, which is anchored by an impressive stone fireplace and is designed with the quintessential feel of a New Orleans courtyard. Plenty of outdoor dining and lounging! Plus the mountains only cliffside, outdoor double bed to enjoy the views and clean mountain air with a friend or loved one, or alone just to reconnect!! There are plenty of local activities and attractions as well. The home is minutes away from downtown Mentone, which is known for great dining and shopping, as well as art and music festivals. Little River Canyon, Desoto Falls, and Desoto State Park are also nearby, providing year-round outdoor fun and relaxation.
