Our Getaway is located about 1.85 miles from Rockport Beach and 1.2 miles from the Heritage District where you'll find shopping for souvenirs, art, jewelry and furniture to name just a few types of shops. Need to take a break from shopping? Drop into a restaurant or club for a bite to eat or for a cold refreshing drink.
Our Getaway is nestled among several live oak trees which shade a winding driveway up to the house. The home is decorated in true Rockport fashion of coastal and nautical themes. Walls in the living and dining rooms are adorned with paintings of a well-known local artist. Several other paintings can be found throughout the house by the same artist. All his paintings depict sea life or beach fun and were painted especially for this home to provide an ambience of fun and relaxation.
Our Getaway can accommodate 8 people. There are three bedrooms and a sofa/futon which makes out into a full-size bed.
The house is laid out with an open floor plan. The kitchen has a long counter that separates it from the living and dining room. This layout offers great interaction among a group of family or friends.
