This uniquely beautiful home located in historic Chatham comfortably sleeps 10 with 5 sleeping spaces, 2.5 baths, plus two outdoor showers. This rental essentially offers two separate living quarters separated by a two car garage. The main house features two bedrooms each with king size beds, a third bedroom with two twin sized beds, and a half bathroom on the second floor. The well laid out first floor gracefully opens into the full kitchen, which is then followed by the formal dining room, and lastly the large TV/living room with queen sleeper sofa. This floor is rounded out by another bedroom with a full futon, a full bathroom, and a laundry room. There is also a private porch with a gas grill. Follow the meandering slate path just off the porch through the green grass to the fenced in pool area. Just steps away from the entrance to the main house is a separate entrance to an additional living space fully equipped with a large kitchen, a full bathroom with walk in shower, a bright bedroom with a king bed, and a large open living room with an adjacent dining area. This all abuts the grand back deck which overlooks the private pool. This layout would be perfect for in-laws, two families traveling together, or simply to provide tranquility from the main home. Lounge on one of the two decks or beside your own private pool surrounded by the pristine landscape and beautifully manicured plantings. Enjoy a game of shuffleboard or cornhole while grilling with the family. Ideally located in South Chatham, you are just a short drive to beautiful beaches, wonderful shops, and restaurants. Short getaways available with an added cleaning fee. Save the cleaning fee by booking 7 or more consecutive nights. Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We has such a great stay! The house and pool were beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The location was perfect, very close to many restaurants and beaches but still felt private. While there was an issue with the central AC in the guest house when we arrived, it was fixed immediately the next day. One thing we found odd was that most of the decor (couch pillows, frames, fake flowers, baskets) all still had the price tags attached? It was like someone had just redecorated but didn't take the time to take the tags off before we got there. It didn't affect the experience but it was definitely a head scratcher. Another thing that didn't really affect the stay but definitely had us second guessing and overpacking was the inconsistency of certain details. It was hard to know what exactly was provided at the house. We knew we would have to bring sheets and towels but it was unclear whether pillows were or were not provided as well as not knowing that pool/beach towels and beach chairs would also be provided. Lastly, It was unclear what time checkout was as the VRBO listing, welcome email, and in-house information all said different times. To reiterate, none of this was inherently bad, but more so confusing. Overall we were extremely pleased with our stay. Thank you!
