3 Bedroom House with Kitchen, Sports and Bedding
Drift Inn to our charming Craftsman home! Built in 1937, it was once the home of Glen's Bike Shop, and many locals have fond memories of first bicycles purchased and bikes repaired on site. The home is 1 block to the Bud Hendrickson Bike Trail, which connects La Crosse and even leads to the Elroy-Sparta Bike Trails. Enjoy views of the marsh, or bike up the train bridge with the kids! Great place for a biking family to stay, bring the fat tires in the winter! La Crosse is in the Driftless region of Wisconsin, untouched by glaciers - hence the name of our rental.
The family-friendly home features 3 bedrooms and one bathroom, a living room, dining room, and a fully fenced yard with a climber, swing set, saucer swing, and sandbox. The recently updated bathroom has a deep soaker tub & shower w/Kohler fixtures, which makes for a wonderfully relaxing bath experience over a regular tub; enjoy our bath tray for extra luxury! It can hold your soaps, lotions, & potions, a candle, a book or tablet, wine glass/coffee cup/other beverage, or whatever you desire when enjoying a long soak! Our dining area is small but mighty; we have the leaf in the antique table in order to extend it for seating for 6 guests. There are 3 bedrooms, queen on the main floor and a full upstairs along with two twin beds in the last room. Living room features free WiFi, xbox, huge smart TV (feel free to use our Netflix, Disney+, &/or Prime TV - or login to yours), electric fireplace, a loveseat and two cushy chairs. Plus some plants and side tables!
There are two parking spots in the driveway and plenty of off-street parking (be aware of local alternate-side parking rules in winter, for snow plowing purposes, when parking on the street).
