Summary: If you want to completely relax and unwind do yourself a favor and stay here. You never need get in your car as the Sandburg house trails are accessible from the property. The screened porch offers daily shows by the songbirds that congregate at the feeder and each dusk and dawn brings deer grazing in the lower field. Hendersonville and Asheville are easy to get to but why would you ever need to leave Flat Rock? There is the famous Flat Rock Play house and Cinema nearby as well as several places to grab a bite to eat.
