Nestled in the heart of historic Dartmouth, this two bedroom, whitewashed Georgian cottage is brimming with character and charm. Just a short walk from the centre of this vibrant seaside town, Fisherman’s has a sense of tranquillity to it, both inside the cottage and in the leafy walled garden, even in the height of the summer.
Light filled rooms and coastal decor make for a warm and welcoming atmosphere, while the large dining room and adjoining galley kitchen provide a convivial space for eating with friends and family. For cosy, quiet nights in, there’s a wood burning stove in the living room, a cupboard full of games and a smart TV. Upstairs there’s a double bedroom which opens onto a small, raised deck to the rear of the property where you can sit and enjoy the evening sun with views over the town. The front bedroom is light and airy with high ceilings and views of Dartmouth. This room has 2 single beds, but the mattresses are easily zip-linked to configure this room as another double. The bathroom is upstairs and features a bath with overhead shower, as well as a toilet.
Outside, the wildflower garden and decking area make for an idyllic location for an alfresco breakfast, balmy evening barbecue, or simply as a place to sit quietly and read a good book.
