Summary: A nicely decorated apartment minutes away from the Basilica which was great. We watched the sunset the first night with a bunch of people up on the hill right below the Basilica and it was stunning. Very convenient that the market is just below and there is an excellent coffee shop right down the street called Inform Cafe. Even better, but slightly further away, is the Leonie Bakery. It is a must! The apartment is a close walk to the nicer part of Montmartre but the actual street that the apartment is located on is just okay. We stayed in Montmartre some years ago on a much quainter street and I would say I definitely preferred that but to each their own. A couple of items worth mentioning: We stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of June. When we entered the unit it was a very hot day and it was sweltering inside. They only had one fan. I reached out for an additional fan and they did deliver it very quickly but even with the two fans and no AC, it was quite uncomfortable. This is my bad, however, as I didn't even think to check for AC. So I would say definitely a more ideal apartment in the cooler months. Also, the shower area looks a little more spacious in the pictures than in reality. And finally, every night there was a group of men drinking (getting drunk) and talking quite loudly right downstairs and across the street. They seemed harmless but as we were traveling with a 9 and 12 year old, it was not ideal.
