Summary: This was our first time to OBX and it was a wonderful week. The house was plenty big enough, the pool and hot tub were very nice and clean. The house was clean. For us, being on the 4x4 beach was fun but it was a pain to have to go into town. It’s like 15-20 minute drive on the beach and if you have never done that before, watch out if you are in a SUV. It’s very easy to cause damage to the undercarriage stuff (heat shield). The horses were amazing and came up to the house but be ready to clean up some horse poop. The beds were not the most comfortable so if you have back issues, that could be an issue for you. Also, be sure to bring everything. We had to run into town to get hand soap and a dish scrub. The horse tours are constant and if the horses are on the property, be sure to know that you are on stage for the tours. All around my family had a wonderful time. Thank you for our stay.
