1 Bedroom Cabin with View, Ocean View and Security
The property of the former hunting lodge is entered via a small, murmuring stream. Completely alone and quietly located on the edge of the forest, it invites you to retreat from the stressful, noisy life. The hut with fireplace is suitable for 1-2 people. Only nature all around, perfect for hiking or just away from it all. No telephone rings, there is no TV reception here. Very suitable for undisturbed meditation outside in nature, you can only hear and see the babbling brook, trees and meadows. Nobody comes by, maybe a squirrel or deer.
The property is fenced. You reach the garden gate over a small bridge over the stream. A gravel path leads to the covered terrace, through which you enter. The next village Longkamp with shop, bank and post office is about 1 km away. This hut is about 12 km from the city of Bernkastel or Traben-Trarbach, a little higher towards Hunsrück. The main luxury of this hut is that it has running water and electricity.
The area around the hut is unsuitable for cycling! For leisurely bike tours it is advisable to come the 12 km to the beautiful Moselle. The Moselle cycle path starts right at our house, where you can rent our bikes. You can leave the car in our yard in time.
When you enter, you come into the kitchen with a practical kitchen cupboard from Grandma's time, but with a kiwi-green coating. The kitchen cupboard contains everything you need for cooking. A 4-plate electric stove with oven and a spacious fridge with freezer and a dishwasher complete the kitchen. Spices, salt, sugar, vinegar, oil, fresh coffee, tea bags and washing-up liquid are always available for visitors on the shelf above the stove. If something is missing, it is replenished.
To the right is the alcove with a comfortable double bed and good full foam mattresses. On the left you get to the living and dining room with table and 2 wing chairs. While eating or reading you can see the meadow and the stream. Next to it is the stove with panoramic windows at the front and side. In the back of the room, the sofa is a comfortable, high-quality seating area. Further to the right there is a passage with a wardrobe into the bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet and sink.
We have installed a small gas boiler, which can be switched on if you open the hut e.g. B. leaves for a long time, or the oven goes out overnight.
Beds with warm quilts (lighter in summer) are covered with fresh, boil-proof bed linen on arrival. When it gets cooler, the oven is already preheated. You will find fresh towels in the bathroom, because we do not want our guests to have to carry too much with them.
