cozy home is ready for guests. Every detail and decoration of this home has been thoughtfully curated. From the golf decor, large island for entertaining, four bedrooms (all with queen beds), loft-space, billiards table, and entertainment center in the basement; everything for a family getaway or guys golf trip was kept in mind through top of the line design and construction of this coastal cottage.
The wow factor of the open kitchen area is amazing. There is a full kitchen with an island that has seating for 5. This spreads open to two story space that encompasses a dining area and a sitting area. This space is faced with full French doors that open to a
deck that runs the length of the house and the doors and deck offer beautiful Lake Michigan views across the street. Enter through the mudroom/laundry room with front loading washer dryers. There is a vestibule with a pantry and a powder room.
This main level has three bedrooms. There is a master suite with his and her closets and a spacious bathroom with two vanities and a walk-in shower. This master suite has French doors to the lake side porch. The opposite side of the home offers two large bedrooms that share a hall full bathroom. One of these bedrooms has French doors to the lake side porch. All three of these bedrooms have queen beds.
The lower level has large entertainment space which has billiards and a large media viewing area with lots of couch and chair seating. Additionally, there is a bedroom on the English Basement side which has French doors to a private patio with a fire pit and
view of a pond and Lake Michigan. This bedroom has an ensuite full bathroom. This bathroom also has a door to the media space, for access from the main room.
Additional space is in the full height loft above the kitchen, accessed by a proper staircase. This loft has a desk, a media viewing area, and a game table. This provides great get-away space or a home office for someone who may need to get some work done. The home is equipped with high speed internet.
The property is hidden from the road with rolling dunes and berms that will remind you of the PGA Championship course Whistling Straits only 15 minutes away. Occupancy: Maximum of 8 people including infants and children.
Minimum age: One must be 25 years old to reserve this property, no exceptions. And the person who reserves, must be there the entire duration of the rental.
Pet policy: We love our furry friends, but sorry, no pets allowed.
Smoking/vaping: There is a strict no smoking inside policy. Any evidence of smoking or smell of smoke inside the property will incur a minimum $500 fee.
Swimming: Renters and guests voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks of loss, property damage or personal or emotional injury, including death, that may be sustained by them as a result of accessing pond or lake.
Parking: Max of 4 vehicles. No trailers or RVs. Vehicles must be parked on the driveway, no-off street parking or in swells or on lawn is permitted.
Noise: This property is not party friendly. We do not allow loud noise, loud music, public drunkenness or parties of any sort.
Early arrivals/Late checkouts: Should you request an early arrival (before 4 pm.) or late check out (after 11 am.) please do so at least 48 hours in advance to receive information about fees and availability. In the event the request falls short of 48 hours, additional fees may apply. Some services may not be completed prior to early check-in and guests should expect staff or vendors to continue servicing the home during this time. A $500 fine will be imposed and charged if guests violate the check-out time.
Security: The property includes cameras for security purposes on the exterior only. 3rd party services: Any 3 rd party services (such as: chef, masseuse, golf cart rentals, etc.) arranged by the managing host are not affiliated with the property’s owner or managing host.
Booking these add-ons implies the renter’s understanding of the lack of affiliation and agreement to release, indemnify and hold harmless the property owner and host fram any claims related to any and all third party activities.
Payment: Payment is due in full 30 days prior to booking.
Cancellation, No Show, and Refund Policy:
A rental prepayment is due at booking which confirms your reservation. Once confirmed, any cancellation or change requests will invoke the cancellation policy. Guests can cancel 60 days before check-in date and get a 50% refund of the nightly rate and the cleaning fee, but not the credit card service fee (6% of the total payments refunded). If a guest has paid 50% to make the reservation, none of this payment is refundable since the refund is only 50% of the total price. If the guest cancels less than 60 days in advance, the nights not spent are not refunded. If a guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent are not refunded.
Refunds will be processed upon cancellation.
No shows are not eligible for a refund of deposit.
Refunds for cancellations or shortened stays due to actual or anticipated inclement weather or Acts of God will not be issued any under circumstances. No refunds for any reason including but not limited to illness, death in the family, event cancellation, weather, hurricane, or airline issues. This is regardless of policy of booking company. We recommend all guests purchases travel protection insurance from a 3 rd party company.
