Relax on the screened porch & catch a glimpse of blue herons, birds, squirrels and the occasional deer. Park your boat at the large dock and head out for a day of beaching, fishing, skiing or tubing. Enjoy watching beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the large completely covered dock or screened porch, in the quiet neighborhood of Smith Mountain Estates, which includes a completely restored firetower offering gorgeous views of the lake and miles of hiking. Dare Park, located a couple of miles away, offers a public boat ramp, park, sandy beaches and swimming as well as covered picnicking. Dadeville is 10 min, Alexander City is 20 mins and Auburn is 35 mins drive.
