Positive: The room was comfortable and clean. Good to have our own bathroom. The property was in a lovely rural setting. The landlady was very friendly and helpful. Pon, her little dog was lovely!!
Negative: I would have preferred the bathroom to be adjoined to the bedroom, rather than off the landing. We would have liked fresh towels half way through our stay as well as somewhere to hang damp towels and wet swimming costumes. The breakfast wasn’t as good as the picture displayed on website and became a little monotonous. Only one fruit offered each morning.I did not expect to load the dishwasher and expected it to be put on more often so there would be more cutlery available etc. Breakfast room very dark as blinds not opened -landlady not present at breakfast times. Landlady very insistent about double locking of doors but didn’t explain until we were leaving on what to do with keys as she was away. Sleep a little disrupted as doors in property very noisy and people moving around in the middle of the. Ight or coming in late.
Summary: We enjoyed our stay but would have liked to see Eli a bit more at breakfast.
