The "Carriage House at The Hive" exudes Southern Charm. Let us take you on an exquisite trip back in history with all the modern amenities to include a fully equipped kitchen, in-house laundry, and backyard with fire pit for closing out your memory-filled Savannah evening. Built on the grounds in 1924 as part of the larger main Victorian estate, the refurbished Carriage House is a southern oasis prepared to quench your thirst for relaxation and peace.
• The Carriage House boasts an open floor plan with high open rafters positioned above the sitting room/office space furnished with two chairs that fold out into single beds, a full-size sofa couch and wall mounted flat screen complete with Roku streaming.
• House sleeps four but no more than six.
• WIFI is included in your visit so just have your passwords ready to sign in to your favorite streaming services.
•The large full-size bathroom is outfitted with a state of the art steam shower with multiple heads and settings to provide the ultimate experience in relaxation and rejuvenation.
• The fully loaded stainless steel kitchen is equipped with hardwood counter-tops and everything you need to be a Top Chef! The kitchen shares space with the dining room table which has seating for four.
• To the rear of the kitchen is a full-size laundry room that also has hanger space for all of your evening attire.
• The spiral stairs leading up to the bedroom loft adds a touch of modern class to this southern classic.
• Once you enter the loft you are engulfed in the charm of the original unfinished wood floors, exposed brick, and a luxurious king-size bed.
• Prior to heading out for the evening or possibly after an invigorating evening out unwind at the fire pit in the shared courtyard with a nightcap sharing stories amongst friends.
• We welcome children of all ages; however, please be aware that our interior spiral stairs while very sturdy and safe, are very steep and not meant for young children. We would hate for you to book with us and be surprised by this so we make it a point to ensure you take a look at the pictures prior to booking with us.
• Traveling with little ones can make it difficult to pack all the essentials. We do keep a playpen on site that can be utilized; please just let us know and we'll set it up where you desire.
• Should you have forgotten your fur-babies bed or food bowels we do keep both on sight and wash them after every guest when used. Pet fee is $25 per pet maximum of two.
• 37th St is a grand boulevard with moss-draped oaks and sidewalks.
