Positive: Enjoyed the evening meal, the location, and found the staff friendly and helpful.

Negative: We booked this property at short notice and at a reasonable price, which we appreciated. However, the room and surrounding areas would benefit from some updating. The carpets in the hallways and landings appear quite worn, and the room itself did not feel as fresh as expected, which gave the impression it may not have been recently prepared for guests. The room was also heavily condensated in the morning. The additional £15 charge for bringing a dog felt slightly high in light of the overall condition of the stay. Breakfast was the most disappointing aspect. After pre-ordering and paying £24 for two, we expected a higher standard. Unfortunately, the food did not feel freshly prepared nor value for money - in all honesty we felt a bit shafted given some of the local breakfasts we saw in Caernarfon afterwards at half the price. The beans appeared to have been left for some time, the mushrooms were undercooked, and the quality of the meat could be improved. With some attention to maintenance and food quality, this could be a much more enjoyable place to stay.
