This three bedroom, three bathroom, three story home is perfect for the small group of friends or family who want to get away from it all, and make lifelong memories. Featuring floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking sunrise views.
The first thing you notice pulling up to Captain's Quarters, other than the iconic A-frame structure, is none other than the beautiful in-ground pool! Don't feel like dealing with aquatic life or the fuss of sand, but still want to splash around? That's no problem at Captain's Quarters!
The main area of the ground floor includes the living room and kitchen in an open floor plan, bathed in natural light from the floor to ceiling windows facing the ocean. Perfect for early mornings sipping on coffee and taking in unforgettable sunrises off the coast!
Walking through the front door, the first thing you see is all the natural light. Downstairs you will find the open floor plan kitchen, living room, and dining room, all surrounded by ocean views! The kitchen features updated, stainless steel appliances, and cozy breakfast nook. The dining room table seats six and is spacious enough for evening meals with the whole group or organizing a game night! And if you're tired from a long day of swimming in the pool or the beautiful Atlantic Ocean, the living room is a perfect respite to sit back and listen to the waves.
The downstairs bedroom, situated downstairs, can be found to the right as you come through the front door. Sprawl out on the king size bed and dream of adventures at sea! Across this bedroom is the downstairs bathroom, featuring a unique shower stall, complete with two benches, for ultimate relaxation!
Going up the spiral staircase takes you to the loft, the second bedroom. The balcony sitting area is a perfect hang out space for kids or teens who might want a little more privacy. This bedroom has a bunkbed containing both a full sized and twin sized mattress. Across the loft is a half bath, so there's no need to climb stairs in the middle of the night! Also in the loft bathroom is the washer and dryer.
Continuing up the spiral staircase takes you to the final bedroom, a one of a kind master bedroom and en-suite bathroom! Enjoy the natural light and ocean views, either from the huge windows or from the privacy of your very own balcony! Soak your worries away in the jumbo sized jet tub or keep it casual with the walk-in shower stall. Did I mention the king sized bed? This bedroom has it all!
The back deck has plenty of sunlight, perfect for maintaining your tan or catching up on your reading! The picnic tables, both at the pool and the deck, are perfect for serving up lunches before getting back in the water.

Disclosure 1: Uneven Flooring
When you are walking downstairs, you will notice that the floors in Captain’s Quarters slope towards the beach and lean in the living room and dining room, and won’t be totally even. The home is structurally sound and has been looked over many times, however due to the numerous hurricanes Captain’s Quarters has faced in the past, the home has now settled into the way it is now. You will notice gaps in the paneling on the walls. We are aware of this and are in the process of repairing it. Also, please be aware that the deck at Captain's Quarters is made of wood and exposed to the elements daily. Therefore, we recommend wearing shoes on the deck to avoid getting splinters.
Disclosure 2: Minimum Stay Requirements
Please be sure to check if your requested dates have minimum stay requirements. If your proposed dates are on or near a national holiday OR during the peak months of June and July, the minimum stay is 7 nights with a Saturday arrival and departure. Be sure to check YOUR dates before reserving.
EXCEPTION TO MINIMUM STAY RULE: If there are less days available than the minimum stay required, then the Minimum Stay Rule is NOT required. However, ALL bookings MUST be a minimum of 3 NIGHTS.
Disclosure 2: Dunes
Disclosure: The South Ponte Vedra Dune Restoration has been completed as of June 9th, 2022. The state of Florida asks that you please stay off the dunes where the sea oats have been freshly planted. There are designated dune crossing walkways, which must be used at all times. It is the law, and you will be fined if you do not follow the rules.
Disclosure 3: Pool Liability
Pools are considered dangerous and should be treated accordingly. Guests will use the pool and pool toys at their own risk. Never leave children and/or weak swimmers unsupervised. Gates must be closed and locked when not in active use. Vacation Quest is not liable for misuse of the pool and pool toys. Diaper wearing guests MUST use swim-proof diapers. No glassware or glass bottles are permitted in the pool or the patio surrounding the pool. Absolutely NO DIVING is allowed. As always, no running when near the pool or on slippery surfaces.
