Come stay at our lake home, “BIG ISLAND TIME” where you will enjoy your TIME on the BIG ISLAND of LOTO at MM1 of the Little Niangua. Beautiful, easy, timbered drive to the island from Camdenton, which is about 15 minutes by car. You will then arrive in a nice, lakefront neighborhood with timber across the road. The house is in a quiet cove where the waters are calm for safe swimming and GREAT fishing! You can take a 3-4 mile walk all the way around the edge of the island for some alone time, exercise or meditation. Bring your golf cart and take evening rides around the island! YOU CAN EVEN RENT A BOAT FROM THE NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR! There is a full balcony on the upper level with multiple seating areas and a gas grill, accessible from the kitchen/breakfast nook area and also the master bedroom. Also a full lower level deck, accessible from the living area and one bedroom. Multiple seating areas available. There is a large concrete dock with a 10 x 22 boat lift/slip, two jet ski lifts, and a 10 x 30 pontoon slip/lift for your use. Swim platform for swimming and built-in picnic table table for having lunch with family, friends or the kiddos. Fish cleaning station for your days catch! Dock bench, table and four chairs, two lounge chairs and beverage table and stack of four extra chairs. Dock shed with mini fridge for you to keep your life jackets, fishing equipment and food and beverage. A paddle boat, two kayaks, two stand-up paddle boards, sit on top of youth kayak and a lily pad/floating mat for fun in the water. A fire pit down by the water with a picnic table for your evening enjoyment roasting hot dogs and making s’mores. What a way to end your evening at the lake!
This is a 4 Bedroom, 3 1/2 Bath home on MM1 of the Little Niangua. Walking into the main level is an entry with hardwood floors. You will immediately see beautiful, tall, arched windows looking out onto the lake from the family room. A large gas fireplace with a 70” TV on top situated between these windows allows for sitting in front of the lake view windows, watching TV at the same time. There is a couch and two recliners all surrounding and facing the windows/tv. Well stocked kitchen for preparing meals with plenty of cabinet storage and granite countertop space. The kitchen faces the lake, so you can enjoy views while preparing to feed your group. There is a breakfast bar, which separates the kitchen and breakfast nook. The bar seats four and the breakfast nook seats six. Windows facing the lake surround the breakfast nook, so you can start enjoying the view of the lake first thing in the morning. There is an additional dining room with a large table seating eight. Great space for playing games together as well. The laundry is a separate area behind the kitchen separated by a door with a large table for extra storage of your “stuff” or folding laundry. There is a half bath for general use on the main level as well. The master suite is on the main level with a king sized bed and a wall of windows with a door to access the deck on the lake side. A 55” tv, chest of drawers, dresser and two night stands for your use. Walk to your master bath and there are two double closets, his and hers, with full length mirror doors! The HUGE master bath is equipped with a walk-in shower, double sink, toilet and jetted garden tub! Take an easy walk down the steps with a handrail to the lower level to find another family room with bar/kitchenette. The bar is stocked with bar glasses, mini fridge, microwave and single cup coffee maker for your convenience. The bar has stools for four people. The family room is furnished with a loveseat and two recliners, checkerboard table and two chairs, electric fireplace and 43” TV. There are three bedrooms and two baths on the lower level. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan. Bedroom one is set up to sleep four with a queen bed and two twin beds, dresser, two night stands and a 32” TV. Bedroom two is set up to sleep four with a queen sized bed, a trundle daybed, a dresser and a 43” TV. Bedroom three is set up to sleep five with a queen sized bed and a single over double bunk with a 43” TV. There is a bathroom with a single sink, toilet and walk-in shower that is accessible from bedroom three and also from the main living area. There is a large bathroom with tub/shower, single sink vanity, toilet and built-in makeup vanity, which is accessible from bedroom two and also the main living area. The covered deck on the lower level runs the full length of the house. You can access the deck from bedroom two and from the family room through sliders. Plenty of deck furniture for sitting outside. The way the house is designed allows for each level to have privacy and separation needed at times when traveling in a big group. Very gentle walk from the lower level to the dock. Parking for 5-6 vehicles and a grassy area across the road in alignment with the house for extra parking of vehicles or trailers.
Only 10-20 minutes by boat to popular lake restaurants, such as The Cave, Larry’s on the Lake, Fish & Co and Captain Ron’s, about 20 minutes by car to Wal-Mart and Gerbes for groceries or the Butcher Shop for your grilling needs. Golf courses, such as Old Kinderhook is within a 15 minute drive.
