Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Emilie was really friendly and responsive in all messages. We enjoyed the breakfast choice, very tasty. It was quite quiet and peaceful. We were able to park for free on the road, just needed to move the car by 9.30am.
Negative: We arrived late in the evening, and discovered our twin room had been made up as a double - with one bottom sheet and duvet. We separated the beds as best we could, but had hoped for two separate beds. I didn't contact Emilie as it was so late and I didn't want to disturb her. We drove to visit Bethune cemetery, nearby. The purpose of our visit was to see the grave of my great grandad from WW1. When we came back to our car, three panels had been scratched deliberately all along the side of the car. The other cars (without a UK sticker) were not scratched. It was the side of the car facing away from the road - there was no way this could have been accidental. The scratches were deep and fresh. Although not the fault of this B&B, I think worth mentioning about the safety of your vehicle in the nearby area.
