Woodpecker Cottage is set within the grounds of Lea Hill Cottages near the charming village of Membury in the Blackdown Hills and only a 20 minute drive from the Jurassic Coast. This pretty one bedroom cottage accepts up to 4 dogs and has its own private garden as well as the use of the beautiful communal gardens at Lee Hill.
You enter the cottage via the garden into a charming living area with a round pine table seating two. Off the dining area is a pretty kitchen with a fridge, dishwasher an electric oven and hob and a freezer. The living room is cosy and warm with a comfy sofa and arm-chair and an electric wood burner plus TV. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor fitted with a bath and electric power-shower overhead plus loo and wash-basin.
There is an additional living area on the first floor, where you can also find the pretty double bedroom with original wood beams and stone walls.
Outside the cottage has a lovely garden accessed via French doors from the living area. The garden is enclosed and sheltered with a patio and garden furniture ideal for al fresco dining.
Lea Hill is located within the Blackdown Hills an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so the cottage is surrounded by amazing walks. Also it is surprisingly close to the Jurassic coast and the south Devon beaches.
