The villa is a 2-minute walk to stunning Home Beach and a 4-minute drive to the Gorge Walk at Point Lookout with stunning ocean views and whale watching locations. Minjerribah Beach Villa is nestled in the prime back row of the Island's newest resort, overlooking native bushland and opposite magnificent Home Beach - one of several unspoilt surf beaches in close proximity. Resort facilities include a heated pool, children's playground and exercise room. There is also a café dine-in or take-away onsite.
The villa sleeps 6 and is ideal for families or 2 couples. Rates include all linen and towels. Minimum stay is 3 nights during low season and 7 nights during school holidays.
ABOUT THE VILLA The villa is a unique design within the resort featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a shady patio out the back. The villa's two separate pods are joined by a large verandah with undercover outdoor dining.
The master bedroom pod features a queen bed and ensuite and opens onto the inter-connecting verandah. The second pod comprises the main open plan living, dining and kitchen area, a second bedroom and the main bathroom. The second bedroom has a bunk bed (double on the bottom and single on top) with a trundle, sleeping four.
The villa features polished floors and is stylishly furnished with European appliances including four burner cooktop, oven, microwave and coffee machine. It is air conditioned with ceiling fans throughout, full security screening and undercover parking. There is a separate laundry with top loader washer and dryer.
The large outdoor deck with shade sail includes a gas BBQ and built in seating. An additional deck at the back overlooks an expansive lawn and native bushland. This deck connects to a private patio with lounge seating underneath the banksia trees. Here you can get close to plenty of local wildlife - kookaburras, honeyeaters, kangaroos and wallabies regularly visit the back garden.
We provide a number of items for your use to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, including games, bluetooth speaker, port-a-cot, tea, coffee, soaps and various other household items.
AMAZING MINJERRIBAH
North Stradbroke Island/Minjerribah is famous for its pristine surf beaches, freshwater lakes, spectacular coastal gorges and rich Indigenous culture. An amazing variety of activities are available: swimming and surfing at the beautiful beaches, scuba diving on nearby Flinders Reef, walks along the cliff top trails at Point Lookout, exploring freshwater lakes, fishing, whale and dolphin watching, eco-tours, Indigenous cultural tours, and of course, relaxing!
The villa is across the road from beautiful Home Beach and a short beach walk to two flagged beaches (Adder Rock and famous Cylinder Beach). The dive shop, a grocery store and the Straddie Pub are all within walking distance.
There is a licensed cafe/restaurant onsite serving breakfast, lunch and dinner - all days burgers, shakes, coffee and lots more! There's also a bowls club next door and a skate bowl and park across the road. The bus stop is out the front of the resort and the bus runs regularly to meet the Straddie ferries.
The villa is a 20-minute drive from both Dunwich Ferry Terminal and Freshwater Lakes.
POINTS TO NOTE
North Stradbroke Island is only accessible by car or passenger ferry. If you are travelling by car, we suggest you book your ferry passages early to ensure the best times. This is particularly important for long weekends and holiday periods.
The Resort has a strict ‘No Pre-Schoolies or Schoolies’ Policy. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian who must be present for the duration of the stay. Failure to comply with this policy results in immediate eviction.
There is WiFi available in the villa and Telstra reception is fine although other providers may experience less coverage.
There is a shared heated pool in the complex with kitchen. Features include many amenities for guests who want to stay for a few days, a weekend or probably a longer vacation with family, friends or group.
Minjerribah Beach Villa is located in central Point Lookout and gives visitors the opportunity to explore. With 2 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms guests will feel right at home.
Due to the unique architectural design of this villa, the main bedroom is separated by an outdoor deck from the additional bedroom/or bunk room. This may not be suitable if you have young children with you.
