Darebin Road, as we call our unit, is situated on the boundary of Northcote and Thornbury. Both suburbs have an abundance of sensational restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. Darebin Road is a late 1970's built ground floor unit in a complex of nine. It is a comfortable living space. Kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom. A single car space is situated adjacent to the unit, marked "2". Really only suitable for really small vehicles, but there is ample free parking on the street.
The space
Darebin Rd is a compact 54 square metres and used by Cate and I primarily. Some time is allocated to AIRBNB, so if blocked out, request a booking. Plenty of space for a couple to live comfortably. The unit has a new Queen bed, washing machine, refrigerator and split system. It is a very welcoming space. Smoking is not permitted on any part of the property. The entrance to the unit is accessed via steps. This means that it is not suitable for people with mobility issues and certainly impossible for wheelchair access.

Naturally guests have access to the whole unit! The outside area surrounding the apartment is shared space with other residents. There is no shared recreation or socialising area. Once again, the whole facility is non smoking. Internet is installed as well as a smart TV with Netflix.
Other things to note
The large windows in the lounge and bedroom are equipped with electric roller shutters. The benefit is privacy when required and they also help with any outside noise. The unit's position is close to bus transport (Victoria St) via Fairfield, tram through Northcote and train from Croxton Station via Jolimont and the MCG.
