Summary: Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend. I have to post multiple reviews because I am not given enough characters to properly relay my experience. Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was disappointing from the moment I arrived. There were two major issues right off the bat. First, the smell in the lobby was overwhelming and extremely unpleasant. It was a strong, rancid odor poorly masked by an excessive amount of air freshener, which made me feel physically ill. Second, the front desk staff was shockingly rude. Before I even had a chance to speak, I was cut off with a curt, "If you're looking to check in early, no rooms are ready." Not even a basic greeting like "hello" or "welcome"—just immediate attitude, which set a very negative tone. When we got to the room, it was clear that the hotel is extremely outdated. Referring to it as a "resort" is a real stretch. While it was relatively clean, the overall condition was poor. The bathroom hadn’t been updated in what looked like decades, and there were noticeable stains in the shower/tub. The bath towels provided were comically small—barely larger than a bath mat. I tried calling the front desk to request additional towels, but no one answered. When I walked down there in person, I found a staff member present, which makes me wonder if the call was simply ignored.
