Historic building built in 1900. High ceilings with an open kitchen. Bedroom with french doors onto courtyard; great to have lunch in the sun. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Washer/Dryer. All included. The bed is a queen size (59"x77").
The Space:
This Cozy apartment in the trendy uptown St-Jean-Baptiste neighbourhood and is within walking distance to UNESCO attractions and interesting neighbourhoods in Quebec City. Less than a 10 minute walk to Old Quebec City, Plains of Abraham, Nouvo St-Roch, Cartier street, and Grande Allée Street. Less than a 5 minute walk from St-Jean street restaurants, groceries, specialty food stores, wine and beer, bakery.
There is wifi, TV, a hair-drier, iron, and ironing board at your disposal.
If you have a car, weekend and overnight parking is free on the surrounding streets. During winter there is occasionally night time snow removal so paid parking is necessary when snow removal lights are flashing. During week days there are parking restrictions that make it close to impossible to park. There is paid parking located at:
1- At the corner of St-Hélène and Dorchester ($12/24hrs, the apartment is a 6 minute walk away but it's up a steep cliff, so there are some stairs to climb)
2- Indoor parking at 815 Rue Saint Joachim ($18/24hrs, the apartment is a 7 minute walk away but no there is no steep cliff).
Most people leave their car parked for the duration of their stay.
The train and bus station is a 15 minute walk away (up Logan's cliff). Quebec City Airport is a 20 minute cab ride away ($40). It is possible to walk nearly everywhere in the downtown area from the apartment. There are also convenient buses nearby.
Check-in time is anytime after 4:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 pm. Key pick-up is at your convenience; a convenient electric box will help you check in at anytime.

In it's centre, you can see the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church and the Saint-Jean Street, the oldest part of the neighbourhood, with many interesting shops and restaurants. Just up the hill, you will find the newest part, with hotels and Quebec's Parliament. Old Town is a 10 minute walk away from the apartment.
