Summary: Inside of house was clean. Owners were kind enough to allow us to check in early and provided us with board games, and communication was very good. Walking distance to the big house, which was nice. The exterior of the house is in very poor shape, and it is difficult to see this on the listing. It is a dirt road that leads to the house, with tons of potholes. There is a large, white gazebo that is in pieces in the front lawn. Had I seen a close-up photo of the front of the house I would not have stayed here. Really uncomfortable beds, and the bed that my son slept in caved in both nights, literally fell to the ground. Paintings were hung sideways, and there was a mirror on the floor in the bedroom, so you could only see the lower portion of yourself. Very poor lighting. We had a tough time getting hot water in the main floor shower. We stayed here during graduation weekend, so we know that prices were inflated everywhere, but this was really not worth what we paid. After our departure, I reached out to the owners to give them feedback. They offered us a free weekend in the future, but honestly, I do not want to stay here again, even if it is free.
