Kayaking is the ideal way to see them and the other small bays, Watcombe and Scratchells. Freshwater beach is popular for surfing and water sports. You will often see boats moor offshore to come ashore here. The Yar River that runs from Freshwater Bay to Yarmouth has a scenic walk and cycle route along the causeway. Explore, relax and enjoy.
